Curbswap (“Curbswap,” “we,” “us”) provides a subscription service that relocates customers’ parked cars to avoid street-sweeping and other parking restrictions in Los Angeles. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website, app, or services, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
Account & contact details you provide: name, email address, phone number, and the neighborhood or ZIP code where you park.
Vehicle details: make, model, year, color, and license plate so our drivers can identify and move your car.
Payment information: subscription and SwapBox™ payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number — Stripe handles card data under its own security and privacy practices.
Location data: GPS coordinates of your parked vehicle and of a move in progress, used to relocate your car and to document where it was returned.
Move documentation: timestamped photos and GPS pins captured before and after each move.
Device & usage data: basic technical information (such as IP address, browser or device type, and app interactions) collected automatically when you use our website or app.
Communications: messages you send us through the support form, email, or in-app chat.
How we use your information
To provide the service — schedule and perform vehicle relocations, dispatch drivers, and send you photo + GPS confirmation.
To monitor parking restrictions on your block and notify you before they take effect.
To process payments, manage your subscription, and fulfill SwapBox™ orders.
To respond to your support requests and communicate with you about your account and moves.
To improve, secure, and troubleshoot our products, and to comply with legal obligations.
To send you launch updates and marketing only where you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
How we share information
With drivers: the vetted driver assigned to your move receives the details needed to locate and relocate your vehicle (such as vehicle description, location, and access instructions for the move window).
With service providers: companies that help us operate — for example, Stripe (payments), our cloud and infrastructure providers, and email/notification providers — who may process data on our behalf.
For legal reasons: when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Curbswap, our users, or others.
In a business transfer: as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
We do not sell your personal information.
Location data
Location is central to the service: we use the location of your parked car to relocate it and to show you exactly where it was returned. We collect location in connection with a move and the management of your vehicle, not continuously in the background beyond what the service requires.
Cookies & analytics
Our website may use cookies or similar technologies to keep the site working and to understand aggregate usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect some functionality.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, then retain and use it as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion of your account data as described below.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy
Curbswap is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Effective” date above, and material changes may be communicated to you directly.
