About Curbswap

We move your car before the ticket.

Curbswap was born in Los Angeles — the city that made parking a part-time job. We built the service we wished existed.

The problem

LA parking is designed to punish you.

Los Angeles issues over 2 million parking tickets every year. That’s not an accident. Street-sweeping windows, tow-away hours, permit zone rotations, special event restrictions — the rules are dense, inconsistent block-to-block, and aggressively enforced.

The average LA resident spends 100+ hours per year dealing with parking — moving their car, circling for spots, disputing tickets, or waiting for a tow release. A $73 street-sweeping ticket is the lucky outcome. A $400+ tow is the unlucky one.

This is the problem Curbswap was built to eliminate — completely, not partially.

How we solve it

Proactive, automated, and fully verified.

Curbswap combines three things that have never existed together in a single product: real-time restriction data, an on-demand driver network, and tamper-proof move documentation.

We ingest LA’s official street-cleaning schedules, permit zone data, and posted sign information — then cross-reference your parked location against a live restriction grid. When a restriction is approaching, we automatically dispatch a vetted driver to move your car before it triggers.

You get a timestamped photo and GPS pin the moment the car is parked. No app-checking required. No Tuesday morning panic.

01
Restriction detected

Our system reads your address against live city data and detects an upcoming sweep.

02
Driver dispatched

A vetted, background-checked driver in your area is automatically assigned and confirmed.

03
Car relocated

The driver moves your car to your preferred fallback zone before the restriction window opens.

04
Proof delivered

You receive a timestamped photo and GPS pin. The move is logged to your history.

What we stand for

Our values

Trust over convenience

Every driver is background-checked and licensed. Every move is documented. We don’t cut corners on the people handling your car.

Proactive, not reactive

We move your car before the ticket comes. The entire product is built around preventing problems, not helping you fight them after.

Built for real neighborhoods

We launched in Silver Lake, Echo Park, and Los Feliz because those are the streets with the most punishing parking rules. Density and complexity first.

Community-first expansion

We don’t drop into a new neighborhood until we have enough drivers and enough subscribers to do it right. Quality over speed.

Built by LA locals.

Every person on this team has gotten a ticket, lost a car to a tow, or spent a Sunday afternoon moving their car twice for two different sweep windows.
